PSTS (held each October) is intended to conduct in-depth reviews at the SECRET/NOFORN level of emerging precision strike innovative technologies—highlighting the most promising next generation precision engagement concepts, capabilities, and processes. Further, PSTS is expected to provide a forum for exchanging insights, experiences, and ideas regarding joint and coalition precision strike technologies to improve the kill chain. Topics of particular interest include challenges associated with Persistent ISR, Data Fusion, Decision Support, Engaging Moving Targets, Defeating Weapons of Mass Destruction, Precision Electronic Attack, and other non-kinetic effects, as well as innovative concepts for Prompt Global Strike and Maritime Interdiction.

PRECISION STRIKE WINTER ROUNDTABLE & WILLIAM J. PERRY AWARD CEREMONY

Theme: Strategic Challenges for Precision Engagement

NEW Meeting Date: March 3, 2010 (rescheduled from February 10, 2010)

Location: Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA

Present and clarify National Defense Policy and Strategies to achieve the goals of Precision Engagement, afford the precision strike community the latest thoughts from Defense Committee Members of Congress, and highlight major precision strike achievements through presentation of the William J. Perry Award.

The Perry Award recognizes public or private sector leadership or achievement that results in significant contributions to the development, introduction or support of precision strike systems. The recipient must have made significant contributions that have led to the strengthening of our national security by direct application of precision strike capabilities to DoD systems and/or to the enhancement of our industrial technology base for application to precision strike technology.

PRECISION STRIKE ANNUAL REVIEW

Theme: Iron Discipline in Acquisition to meet Precision Engagement Requirements

Meeting Date: April 20-21, 2010

Location: The Waterford at Springfield-Springfield, VAA

Focus on the review and way forward of important precision strike weapons systems and capabilities essential to meet the joint warfighters' needs—particularly those weapons systems in development and procurement.
